How To Measure

General Information

  • Use a metal tape measurement instead of cloth measuring tape
  • Require your measurements in centimeters in format of XXX.X cm. For example, 150.0 cm or 45.6 cm.
  • Record the measurements in the format of width x length. Do not swap the order of the elements.
  • Measure every window even though they are supposed to be the same. A slight variation may affect the perfect fitting of your window furnishings.
  • Do not take the measurements from floor plans as they are inaccurate.
  • Make sure what you record is the same as what you measure. A good way is to double check the record.
  • If measuring with a partner, make sure to speak the measurements out loudly as they write them down.
  • Double check all details and make sure them correct before ordering.

  • Window frame is covered when blind is closed.
  • Good choice for making a window appear wider and longer.

What does Width X Length mean when place order?

  1. Measure A which is the width from the outer edge of the architrave to the opposite edge.
  2. Add at least 20cm to A which allows the cloth to go past the opening. (20cm will give around 8cm of cloth each side past the opening)

Width  = A + 20 cm

  1. Measure B which is the drop from the top of the architrave to where you want the blind to finish.
  2. Add at least 30cm to B to allow the blind to be mounted above the opening.

 Length = B + 30 cm
